The brief: Head of Global Delivery – leading the rapidly expanding construction and fit out program for over 4000 location in over 70 Countries. Having researched and evaluated profiles from organizations with comparable roll out programs – including Global Retail, Fast Food, Super Markets, Hotel Operators – we concluded that most adhered to a traditional delivery process prioritising destinations trading as soon as possible over delivery cost efficiency. To ensure both, we identified the few professionals from leading management consultancy who had in turn been advising leading global construction companies on pioneer processes, modern methods of construction and materials to deliver more environmentally sustainable structures, faster, to higher specification at a lower cost including modular applications. With only a limited pool of stand out target candidates – we presented a compelling pitch persuading the top profile candidate to consider the opportunity then working closely with the client to build the relationship , engage and then join.
The appointment has exceeded the original objectives transforming the Global Delivery process and setting the benchmark for large scale roll out programs across the Industry.
